The Future Is Hemp
I've never heard of people wearing clothing made from hemp
That's because we are paving a new road, to save our future….
Hemp fiber or industrial hemp is obtained from the outer layer (or the bast) of the cannabis sativa plant. This product has some incredible uses:
- UV Resistant
- Resists Mildew
- Resists Heat
Today, hemp is used in similar applications to linen and can be used as a substitute to anything made from cotton. Hemp is porous, which helps it retains its dye and makes it extremely breathable. Due to its strength, it does not lose it’s shape like a cotton shirt would. Switching from wearing clothes in which cotton is the primary fiber in, is a big step you can take to help preserve this planet for the many generations after us.
