FAQ About Hemp Clothing

Is Hemp Clothing Sustainable?

Hemp requires 1/2 the acreage of conventional cotton and produces up to 3x more fiber than cotton on the same amount of land!

Is Hemp Clothing Comfortable?

Funny enough; the first sample we received was a 100% hemp shirt, and we almost gave up on the idea due to the feel of it. But, if combined with other fabrics, a hemp shirt can be as soft as cotton, while maintaining the durability associated with hemp a.k.a. it won't shrink.... ever!

Our shirts are made from 55 hemp / 35 cotton / 10 lyrcra

This fabric blend provides the durability you'd expect with hemp, the softness you'd want from cotton and flexibility you love with lycra

The hemmed bottom provides a more athletic and comfortable feel than your typical box cut shirt

Is Hemp Clothing Legal?

Of course!

This shirt will not get you high, but the feel of it will provide you with that same euphoric feeling.

Like a baseball glove you've had for ten years, hemp fabric becomes softer with use!

Is Hemp Better Than Cotton?

Hemp requires half the acreage of cotton and produces up to 3x more fiber than cotton on the same amount of land.

In fact, it can take up to 2,700 liters of water to make a single 100% cotton t-shirt!

(that's enough water for one person to drink for 2.5 years)

Is Hemp Clothing Expensive?

Quality costs money.

But more than that, the cost to produce hemp is far more expensive than it is to produce it's counterpart: cotton.

Thankfully, the US passed the Farm Bill in 2018, which will hopefully promote the producing of hemp in the US and thus reduce the cost to produce hemp.
